Tariq Ahmed is Senior Director, People & Engagement at the Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT). He leads EIT's talent, culture and engagement strategy, attracting exceptional people and creating an environment where world-class science, innovation and impact can thrive.

Prior to joining EIT, Tariq served as Chief People Officer at Achilles Therapeutics plc, helping guide the organisation from an early-stage biotechnology company to a NASDAQ-listed business. He subsequently joined Oxford Quantum Circuits as Interim Chief People Officer, supporting the company through a landmark Series C funding round and preparing the organisation for scaling.

Earlier in his career, Tariq held senior roles at London Business School, RSA and Visa Inc., where he led the Emerging Markets People & Culture workstream during Visa's IPO.

An ICF-certified Leadership Coach, Tariq is passionate about helping leaders and teams unlock their potential and deliver lasting impact. He has passed the Chartered Director examinations with the Institute of Directors and holds a Master's degree in Strategic Human Resource Management.
