Applications now open for the Graduate Ellison Scholars programme

The Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT) is now accepting applications for the Graduate Ellison Scholars programme. Successful applicants will join a community of researchers, innovators and problem-solvers, undertaking world-class doctoral study at the University of Oxford while working on EIT projects with the potential to deliver real-world impact at global scale.

EIT is seeking exceptional talent across a wide range of disciplines, including artificial intelligence and computer science, engineering, economics, biology, plant sciences, mathematics, chemistry and related fields. Scholars will contribute to multidisciplinary research programmes designed to advance breakthrough technologies and solutions across EIT's Humane Endeavours.

Graduate Ellison Scholars receive:

• Full funding for doctoral study at the University of Oxford, including course fees and a generous living stipend

• The opportunity to contribute directly to pioneering EIT research and innovation projects, working with leading academics, technologists and industry experts

Applications open on Wednesday 16 September 2026 and close on Tuesday 1 December 2026.
