EIT Reaches Key Milestone in Construction of Oxford Clinic

On January 8th, EIT leadership and our growing clinic team gathered at the EIT Campus to mark an incredible construction milestone - the foundation of the EIT Oxford Clinic has been reached!

Under the leadership of Medical Director Dr Lennard Lee, the clinic will span over 2,000m² and serve as a cutting-edge hub for cancer treatment, disease prevention and wellness. Equipped with advanced on-site clinical imaging, the facility is designed to provide seamless patient care and medical excellence.

By integrating research and clinical care, the clinic embodies our mission to transform lives, advance medical innovation and deliver safer, more effective care with global impact.

Dr. Lennard Lee said of the moment, "We have reached the deepest point of construction – laying the foundations of the EIT Oxford Clinic which will sit in the basement of our new campus. This marks a pivotal moment in the Clinic’s journey. From today, the building work begins its ascent to ground level and above!

The Clinic will serve as a hub for innovation, fostering partnerships with academia, industry and healthcare organisations. It will feature advanced imaging and clinical infusion rooms with an initial focus on cancer treatment and disease prevention."
