Sophie Bannister is the Property Lead at EIT. In her role she is responsible for overseeing design, construction and renovation projects, lease negotiations and tenant relations, as well as the sourcing and purchase of strategic assets. She helps to develop and execute strategic plans for portfolio development and growth to ensure that the property holding of EIT continues to evolve. With the growth of the UK operation she aligns the property portfolio in Oxford to help fulfil the potential of EIT to meet its strategic goals.
Previously, Sophie worked for 17 years in Strategic Asset Management at Jones Lang LaSalle, working with clients such as University Superannuation Scheme, Legal and General and Schroders, advising on their UK property portfolios. Within that role she was responsible for the strategic management and performance of various property portfolios, looking for active asset management opportunities and how to position their assets to maximise returns and unlock potential.
Sophie has been a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors since 2009. She has a Masters in Real Estate from the University of Reading and a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management from the University of Leeds.
