Sath Nirmalananthan is the Finance Director for EIT. In his role, Sath leads finance and procurement, providing financial guidance and insight to advance EIT’s ambitious research and translate it to real world impact.
Sath has extensive financial experience in the life sciences sector across FTSE and NASDAQ listed companies, investment banking and accounting practice. Prior to joining EIT, he was the Chief Financial Officer at Scancell plc, a clinical stage biotechnology company, where he also served on the Board of Directors. Sath also currently holds a position on the Audit Committee of the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in the UK.
Sath is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of ICAEW. He studied Pharmacology at King’s College London.
