Maximillian is an aspiring polymath taking the path of an engineer. His favorite word in the Oxford Dictionary is "build"; in the KBBI (Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia), it's "mencipta," and that's what he does. He founded Launchpad, a nationally operating robotics NGO mentoring 40+ young innovators, and SPARK, a national sustainability competition reaching 300+ schools. He wrote computer science, mathematics, and metacognition curricula for orphaned children through Eclipse, a STEM education initiative, and led TrackEco's engineering team, building an AI recycling app and coordinating 80+ volunteers to clean local beaches.
His technical work spans embedded systems, machine learning (ML), and signal processing, from an ultrasound plant-monitoring IoT device to real-time sign-language-to-speech glasses using ML classifiers. He is a gold medalist at the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad, placed 18th globally in the Singapore Math Challenge, and earned silver in the National Junior Informatics Olympiad. In his spare time, Maximillian enjoys reading, playing the guitar, working on game development, cooking, and playing Mahjong.
