Giorgio’s interests focus on how artificial intelligence can reshape financial markets and global capital allocation. He has represented Romania internationally at finance and economics Olympiads, developing strong quantitative and analytical skills grounded in mathematics. He was selected to compete in the 2025 Australasian Economics Olympiad, where he earned a team gold medal. He also placed in the top 10 at the World Economics Cup Continental Round and received a bronze medal at the International Economics Olympiad Winter Challenge.

Beyond competitions, Giorgio led TEDx ISB in Romania, overseeing the strategy and execution of a large-scale conference that brought together ideas across technology, science and enterprise. Giorgio aims to align technological innovation with enterprise strategy, applying economic insight to scale emerging technologies into systems that generate lasting value and measurable societal impact.

Giorgio is fluent in Italian, Romanian, English and French, helping him to engage across global financial and entrepreneurial settings with ease.

Outside academics, Giorgio competes in “Olympic Trap” shooting, regularly winning gold and silver medals at national level. He also skis regularly, plays the piano and hopes to learn to sail in the future.
