Andrew’s interests lie at the intersection of mathematics and machine learning. He is a recipient of many awards at national and international math and computing competitions including a gold medal in ACSL (American Computer Science League). Andrew has top placements at competitions like HMMT (Harvard-MIT Math Tournament) and BRUMO (Brown University Math Olympiad), and six AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination) qualifications.

Andrew has participated in intensive collaborative programmes such as MIT BeaverWorks UAS-SAR (Unmanned Air System – Synthetic Aperture Radar) and MIT Primes Step where he conducted original research on number theory and published in Journal of Integer Sequences. He applied his skills in the real world as a Data Science Intern at Cambridge Mobile Telematics where he improved the crash detection algorithm. He also leads the tutoring programme at his high school.

Outside of academics, Andrew enjoys playing sports, board games, and travelling.
