Aleks is a mathematician and computer scientist with a strong focus on applying theoretical ideas to real-world challenges. He has earned international recognition through outstanding Olympiad performance, including a bronze medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), gold at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (EJOI), and multiple medals across prestigious competitions such as the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad and the International Zhautykov Olympiad. He has also spent over a year coaching Armenia’s junior programming Olympiad team.

His long-term goal is to apply theoretical computer science, robotics, and artificial intelligence to real-world challenges, including disaster-response technologies. During high school, he built an AI-powered robotic systems, including a computer vision-based navigation robot using OpenCV and neural networks, with a focus on adaptability in unpredictable conditions, and hopes to further develop similar systems in his future studies.
