Pathogen Program
Team Coordinator

Vicky Wiltshire

Vicky Wiltshire is the Team Coordinator for the Pathogen Program at EIT. In her role, she supports the operational delivery of a globally focused program advancing pathogen genomics and data-driven approaches to infectious disease. She provides high-quality administrative support to multidisciplinary teams spanning genomics, data science, research platforms, and applied device science. In doing so, she coordinates program activities, facilitates effective communication, and ensures the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the program.

Prior to joining EIT, Vicky worked in administrative roles supporting recruitment and business operations in Oxford. In these positions, she managed onboarding processes, stakeholder communications, data handling, and operational coordination within fast-paced environments.

Vicky graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc in Human Geography. Her studies examined how social, economic, political, and environmental systems interact to shape communities and institutions at local and global scales, engaging critically with challenges including climate change, inequality, urbanisation, and globalisation. Through independent research and applied policy analysis, she developed strong analytical judgement and the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and precision. This interdisciplinary foundation aligns closely with EIT's mission to address global challenges through collaborative, cross-sector innovation.

Outside of work, Vicky enjoys travelling with friends, cooking, and watching live music.
