Robert Asatyran is a Laboratory Technician in the MDLS group here at EIT. Robert is supporting the setup of the MDLS team in the Medawar building as well as ongoing maintenance, safety and quality of lab operations. Combining his scientific knowledge with his organisational skills, he will create a thriving environment for MDLS to grow and expand.
Robert is a Master's graduate in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford with 4 years of industry experience in the Cell and Gene Therapy Sector. He was previously a Scientist at OXGENE/Minaris Advanced Therapies, working in the Process Development team, carrying out viral vector production and purification.
In his free time Robert enjoys playing football, chess and board games, travelling and creative writing.
