Pathogen Program

Rebecca Teevan

Rebecca is a Scientist in the Pathogens Program at EIT. She is working on developing an instrument that can take a sample from RNA/DNA extraction through to a sequencing library prep in order to make sequencing pathogens as simple and robust as possible.

Previously, Rebecca worked in the Cell and Gene Therapy industry, contributing to the development of both the process and analytical development to produce drug products which are as safe and efficacious as possible.

Prior to starting her career, Rebecca obtained her BSc in Biochemistry in 2020 from Swansea University.

Outside of work, Rebecca performs in amateur musical theatre productions and enjoys running and hiking.
