As a Laboratory Manager, Eva oversees the day to day running of one the laboratories within the Plant Biology Institute (PBI) at EIT. Working closely with the Head of Lab Management, she ensures that the laboratory operates safely, effectively, and in alignment with the overarching strategic direction set for lab operations across PBI.

She holds a PhD in Plant and Molecular Biology from Royal Holloway University of London and has over 14 years of experience across commercial research, industry, and academia.

Eva is experienced in phytochemistry, molecular biology with focus on gene editing and plant-based crop protection research as well as workflow design and project management.

She is a creative problem-solving focused professional with strong communication skills and attention to detail. She understands and embraces interdependencies within and across teams and always thrives to support and facilitate researchers to help them excel at their work.
