Anne is a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Plant Biology Institute (PBI) at EIT, specialising in plant cell based production and metabolic engineering.
Prior to joining EIT, she obtained her doctoral degree in plant biology and molecular plant sciences from Michigan State University, where she was supervised by Dr. Berkley Walker and Dr. Yair Shachar-Hill. Her thesis research studied how extremophile algae maintain photosynthetic efficiency in hot spring environments.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing board games and trying new crafts.
