Sameer is an End User Compute Engineer at EIT, with over a decade of experience in IT systems design, configuration, and management. He is responsible for developing and maintaining systems, policies, and tools to ensure a seamless and secure technology experience at EIT Oxford, driving improvements in efficiency and security.
Sameer has extensive experience leading cross-functional teams, managing complex IT projects, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve key milestones. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a pivotal role in transitioning the organisation to remote working by updating MDM solutions, refreshing devices for over 2,000 users, and spearheading cloud migration initiatives to modernise operations.
Outside of work, Sameer is a REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer with a strong interest in fitness, calisthenics, and researching health and longevity strategies. He is passionate about wellness, spending time with family, and supporting community initiatives.
Sameer brings a passion for innovation, a results-driven mindset, and a collaborative approach to advancing EIT's technology infrastructure in support of its mission.
