Undergraduate Selection Criteria

For those applying to the Ellison Scholars programme for undergraduate study at the University of Oxford

Ellison Scholars applicants will be asked to include evidence that they meet the below criteria in the application process.

Alignment to EIT's Vision

Applicants will need to show that they are aligned and committed to EIT’s vision by demonstrating a deep understanding of global problems in at least one of EIT’s four humane endeavours.

In addition, applicants should demonstrate one or more of the following:

    • Advanced technology-related skills
    • A proven track record in innovating to solve problems
    • Outstanding aptitude in a subject that relates to one of EIT’s humane endeavours or projects

Personal Criteria

All applicants must excel in the following three criteria:

Academic Excellence

Passion for their Subjects

Tenacious and Resolute

All applicants must also excel in one or more of the following traits:

Strong Communicator

Influential and Motivational

Trusted Collaborator
