Kay Hamer is an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Administrator at EIT. She brings over 20 years of experience across manufacturing, research and development, quality assurance, and industrial hygiene.
Prior to joining EIT, Kay held senior roles in industrial hygiene and R&D, where she led microbiological risk management, hygiene improvement programmes, ISO audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. She has extensive expertise in microbiological risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Kay holds recognised qualifications in Business Improvement Techniques and Lean methodologies, supported by comprehensive professional training in ISO standards and internal auditing, HACCP, COSHH, and IOSH Working Safely.
Outside of work, she enjoys hands-on DIY projects, gardening, and exploring the countryside with her dog.
