Alex is a healthcare operations leader with extensive experience in designing and managing world-class clinical and laboratory environments.

In his position at EIT, Alex drives the development of cutting-edge medical infrastructure and end-to-end patient care processes. His leadership ensures that the medical clinic and diagnostic lab operate efficiently while fostering a culture of innovation, safety, and patient-centred care.

Alex has led the design and launch of seven laboratories across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, with multiple sites achieving ISO accreditation, and four clinics progressing to successful CQC regulatory approval. His expertise spans molecular diagnostics, pathology and analytical laboratory development, together with laboratory automation and systems integration, underpinned by strong accreditation, quality and regulatory governance.

He has also overseen high-throughput diagnostic operations for sectors including film, aviation, national infrastructure and defence, alongside bespoke services for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals(UHNWIs), and has been closely involved in the implementation of LIMS, AHRs and integrated digital workflows.

Alex holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of London and his background enables him to bridge the gap between research and applied clinical practice, ensuring that cutting-edge technologies translate into real-world healthcare solutions.
