Dr Lennard Lee Wins National Award for Cancer Vaccine Leadership at UK Oncology Forum 2025
The Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT) is delighted to announce that Dr Lennard Lee, Chief Medical Officer of the EIT Clinic, has been awarded a prestigious national honour for Leadership in Cancer Vaccine Policy and Advocacy at the 2025 UK Oncology Forum.
Following a nationwide vote, this accolade recognises Dr Lee’s visionary work advancing the UK’s cancer vaccine strategy - helping accelerate the transition from science to patient impact through bold policy shaping, collaborative networks and advocacy for clinical innovation.
“This award is a testament to Dr Lee’s deep commitment to changing the cancer care landscape and his tireless pursuit of real-world solutions to one of humanity’s greatest challenges,” said a spokesperson from the UK Oncology Forum.
As a practising cancer physician and scientific leader, Dr Lee has been instrumental in national initiatives that place patients at the heart of innovation - including the UK Cancer Vaccine Advance and NHS-Galleri trial. His work sits at the cutting edge of cancer research, shaping policies that unlock access to next-generation treatments for people across the UK and beyond.
