Dr. Vaidhyanathan Mahaganapathy is a Computational Biologist with a special focus on Genomics for the Ellison Institute of Technology’s Bioanalytics team. Vaidhy provides technical and knowledge support to the numerous sequencing projects at EI and works on data quality control and analysis.
Prior to pursuing graduate studies, Vaidhy worked as a Computational Chemist in a small molecule cancer drug discovery start-up. Vaidhy earned a BTech in Biotechnology and a MTech in Bioinformatics from SASTRA University (India), before graduating with a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
When off the clock, Vaidhy loves cooking, baking, going on long drives and exploring the world around him.
