Rachel Perez

Rachel Perez is a Research Laboratory Specialist at the Ellison Institute of Technology. She works on several projects focused on establishing the patient-specific colorectal cancer chip for potential therapies evaluation.

Prior to joining the Institute, Rachel was a researcher on diabetes clinical trials in the Translational Research & Therapeutics Program at City of Hope Medical Center for six years. She holds a BS degree in Biology from University of California, Riverside, and an MS in Biology from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. 

Rachel is a Los Angeles native and fluent in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, cheering at Dodgers Stadium, and spending time with her Aussie Mix, Mookie.
