Curran Shah is a Graduate Assistant at the Ellison Institute of Technology under the advisement of Dr. Shannon Mumenthaler. His work focuses on using novel organ on chip models to better understand early metastatic events in colorectal cancer.

Curran graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Sicence in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. He received his master’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Outside of the lab, Curran loves outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing, as well as trying new restaurants around Los Angeles.
