Angelica Ilagan

Angelica Ilagan is the Communications and Foundation Coordinator for the Ellison Institute of Technology. In her role, she supports the Institute’s communication efforts through content development, media relations and monitoring, and social media management. She also assists in managing relationships and communications with key donors, board members, and partners of the Institute.

Prior to joining the Institute, Angelica worked as an Account Executive at NKE Strategies, a Sacramento-based public affairs firm, where she helped execute communications and outreach programs for nonprofit and public agency clients. Before NKE Strategies, she worked in educational outreach as a Project Assistant for the San Diego Community College District.

Angelica graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Literature/Writing. In her free time, she enjoys writing and reading, cooking new recipes, spending quality time with friends and family, and finding her next favorite video game (at the time of her writing this, it’s Outer Wilds).
