Chief Technology Officer, Pathogen Programme

Sarah is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Pathogen Programme, where she leads the technical delivery of innovative Software as a Service (SaaS) products and advanced research platforms. Sarah’s work is centred on creating user-centric solutions that ensure the secure management of sensitive biological data.

 Sarah brings a wealth of experience in turning cutting-edge research into market-ready solutions. She previously held the role of CTO at Oxehealth, where she oversaw the development of medical-grade patient monitoring systems that have made a significant impact in the mental health sector. She has led the technical development at multiple University of Oxford spin-outs.

 Sarah is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering and Computing Sciences from the University of Oxford. Her technical expertise and academic background have provided her with a solid foundation in both engineering principles and computing, enabling her to excel in leading complex technological initiatives.

Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys a range of hobbies including walking, swimming, cooking and woodwork. She also has two children.
