Megan Akodu

Policy Lead

Megan Akodu is a Policy Lead at the Ellison Institute of Technology. In this role, she supports EIT’s work in creating innovative policy solutions for some of global health’s biggest challenges.

She brings global health experience from her previous role as the UK’s International Health Regulations (IHR) lead, responsible for all international communications and contact tracing, in which she worked in during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Megan has an MSc in the Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a multidisciplinary course bridging the fields of epidemiology, laboratory sciences and public health. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham, where she read Geography and specialised in Medical Geography.
