Kate Li is the Programme Administrator for the Ellison Scholars Programme at EIT Oxford, joining in November 2023. In this role, she is dedicated to facilitating the set-up and delivery of the scholarship programme, developing efficient administrative processes, and supporting outreach efforts.
Before joining EIT Oxford, Kate gained valuable experience with the Education Development Trust in the UK, where she supported a peer-to-peer school improvement programme for primary and secondary schools. She coordinated and managed delivery and support for national partnerships, working with over 5,400 leaders in more than 2,000 schools from 60+ local authorities.
Additionally, Kate served as an Executive Officer at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Insurance. There, she supported department operations, served as secretary for various departmental committees, and played a key role in programme development exercises.
Known for her excellent organisational and communication skills, Kate is proactive and passionate about education services. She enjoys working with diverse groups of people and is eager to continue growing her career in education coordination and administration.
Originally from Hong Kong, Kate holds a BSc from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She moved to the UK in 2021 and has enjoyed exploring different areas of the country. Cornwall is a favourite spot for its beautiful beaches, coastal landscapes, and delicious seafood, including the best fish and chips. A coffee and cake enthusiast, Kate loves discovering new bakeries and coffee shops.
