Jayashree Sadanandan

Senior Policy Lead

Jayashree Sadanandan is Senior Lead in the Policy and Strategy for EIT. In her role, she works closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior decision makers and key opinion leaders, to define a strategy and policy across key programs, and develop actionable plans to influence policy. She also leads in the delivery of priority projects where relevant. Jayashree is currently actively involved in addressing policy issues and delivery of an innovative solution of sustainable clean, firm and reliable energy for data centres.

In her previous role as a Strategic Advisor for Global Health Partnership and Life Sciences in the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI), Jayashree was responsible for forging partnerships across the global health community, multilateral platforms and industry to bring technology-driven solutions ion the areas of Life Sciences (prevention, pathogen surveillance, and clinical research) to accelerate change and impact in Low and Middle-Income Countries. Prior to her 3 year stint with (TBI), she has over 15 years of experience in the Singapore government holding several senior positions and overseeing work involving the attraction of FDI into Singapore across several verticals, forging industry partnerships, regional policy matters and trade negotiations.

Jayashree holds a MSc in Public Policy & Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Outside of work, Jayashree loves the outdoors and hiking. She also volunteers as a netball coach to her daughter’s netball team (U12s).
