Ellie McAllister

Ellie McAllister is the Laboratory Manager at the Ellison Institute of Technology Oxford. Ellie is responsible for the coordination and set up of laboratory infrastructure and will develop the efficient and effective management of laboratory operations across the EIT Oxford campus. She aspires to build and manage new teams with enthusiasm, fostering positive working relationships and transparent communication. 

Ellie’s previous laboratory management experience was obtained at one of the UK’s leading forensic service providers. It was during her time as a scientist that she identified her passion for leadership and her role quickly transitioned into the management team. During this time, she played a key role in maintaining laboratory standards, complying with regulations and upholding associated accreditations to an exceptionally high standard. 

In her spare time Ellie prioritises health and fitness, has completed her first half marathon and partakes in extreme sports including slalom skiing, wakeboarding and snow skiing.
