Priyanka Shrestha

Priyanka is an aspiring physician-scientist at the forefront of artificial intelligence (AI) and medicine, dedicated to advancing digital health tools and computational approaches in biomedical research.

She is interested in developing improved multi-modal models for medical decision-making. Her previous work spans developing statistical algorithms for spatial transcriptomics and AI-driven tools for medical education.

Recognized as a 2022 Amgen Scholar, Priyanka has presented her research at national and international conferences. She worked as a software engineer at Roche, where she led the development of AI-enhanced storage solutions for sequencing by expansion (SBX) data.

In her spare time, Priyanka loves exploring mediums of storytelling. She is an amateur podcast producer and a published writer in various literary magazines.
