
Prisha Bhat
Prisha is a passionate researcher, public speaker, and advocate for sustainability in agriculture.
She is deeply interested in environmental sciences, botany, and biology. She has been independently researching heavy metal remediation from soil and stress resistance in rice for the past four years, winning several international and national awards for her research in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Prisha was recognized as one of the top 40 finalists in the 2025 Regeneron Science Talent Search, the most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors in the United States.
Prisha is also an ambassador for the Aspen Institute’s Our Future is Science program, leading projects to combat environmental issues such as urban tree inequity.
In her free time, Prisha loves playing the drums, online puzzle games, swimming, and gardening.
