Conor McMenamin leads the Data Engineering team for the Pathogen Programme, where he oversees the design and delivery of the Research Data Platform. This platform empowers researchers with access to a unique collection of pathogen data.
Conor has extensive experience in delivering scientific data platforms, having worked with organisations such as Exscientia, Healx, and EMBL-EBI. Throughout his career, he has successfully delivered platforms and solutions tailored to both internal teams and major pharmaceutical companies. Most notably, he built the AI data platform at Exscientia, driving advancements in drug target selection through the integration of NLP, Knowledge Graphs, and Large Language Models.
Conor is passionate about fostering high-performing teams and cultivating an inclusive, dynamic engineering culture. Outside of work, he enjoys sailing and spending quality time with his family.
